IDPA Safety Officer
Certification Class
Saturday, January 28, 2006
Since
S.O.'s are such an important part of IDPA, Racine IDPA will be hosting a Safety
Officer Training Class on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Shooter's Sport Center
in Racine. Class will start at 1:00PM. We'll break for dinner at about 5:00PM,
and then move to the range portion at 6:00PM. Cost is $20.00, and includes
sandwiches (or maybe pizza) for dinner. You do not need to be a member of Racine
IDPA to attend, however you must be a member of IDPA. 25 rounds of ammo should
be enough for each participant. Make sure you bring your usual gear- eye and ear
protection, baseball-style hat, etc. I highly recommend that any IDPA shooters
take this class. We need to have enough S.O.'s available so that the same people
aren't burned out by constantly acting as S.O.'s. The more S.O.'s we have, the
better. Please consider attending and getting your Safety Officer Certification.
See you on Saturday.

Oconomowoc Sportsman's Club's IPSC Program
www.oscinc.org
Welcome to the Oconomowoc Sportsman's Club's IPSC Program. Each match
will have different Match Directors, who will be responsible for
set-up, tear down, and general administration of the match. If you
enjoy the matches, let these individuals know.
We will generally have 5 stages, which includes a classifier. The
stages diagrams and walk-throughs, will usually be posted on our
"Stage Page", a few weeks prior to the match. Bring around 150
rounds. Shooters are asked to help with stage break down and clean up
after the match.
Match fees are $15 for pistol only. If you also shoot rifle, it is an
additional $5. If you only shoot rifle, it is $10. We will try our
best to start shooting on time, which is 9:00 am, and be finished
around 12:30. This will allow enough time to shoot rifle. Rifle
registration will close at 1 pm, as they also want to get home at a
reasonable time.
IPSC registration will begin around 8:00 am, and close
at 8:45 am sharp.
We reserve the right to limit the number of shooters per match. If
you want to shoot the match for $5, stop by on the Saturday before and
help set-up for a few hours.
Thanks,
Randy Tersen
